Cristiano Ronaldo Invests $7.5 Million in Herbalife

Portuguese football icon Cristiano Ronaldo, ranked the world’s highest-paid soccer player in 2025 by Forbes, has invested $7.5 million for a 10% stake in HBL Pro2col Software LLC, a software-based health and nutrition platform.
The technology collects users’ health and lifestyle data and leverages it to develop customized nutrition and wellness plans.
The announcement came alongside Herbalife’s fourth-quarter results, showing a 1% full-year sales increase in 2025 compared to 2024, and a 6.3% rise in fourth-quarter sales.
While Ronaldo has been a paid partner of Herbalife since 2013, this marks his first publicly disclosed equity investment in the company.
In a statement shared by Herbalife, Ronaldo described the move as a “natural evolution” of their partnership, adding that working with the company is “what motivates [him] at this stage of [his] career.”
According to Forbes’ 2025 rankings, Ronaldo earned $280 million, with around $50 million from off-field ventures, including his CR7-branded hotels, fitness centers, and watches. His YouTube channel, UR Cristiano, counts 77 million subscribers, while marketing agency Two Circles estimates his social media following at nearly 1.04 billion, the largest global audience of any individual athlete.
What To Watch For
Ronaldo is expected to represent Portugal at the 2026 North America World Cup. At age 41, he will be among the oldest players and is pursuing 1,000 career goals. Despite winning two Nations League titles and one European Championship, he has never lifted the FIFA World Cup trophy — an achievement he aims for this time.
