Eyone Raises $1.7 Million to Expand Its E-Health Platform Across Africa

Senegal-based e-health startup Eyone has successfully raised $1.7 million in funding from Oyass Capital, the investment arm supported by FONSIS, Senegal’s sovereign wealth fund, to accelerate the expansion of its healthcare technology platform across Africa.
Founded in 2015 by Henri Ousmane Gueye and John Diatta, the company focuses on developing innovative digital solutions designed to improve healthcare systems and enhance medical data management across the continent.
Eyone gained significant recognition in the e-health sector after winning the Africa’s Business Heroes competition in 2025. The startup has built an advanced medical interoperability platform that provides healthcare professionals and patients with real-time access to medical records, enabling improved care delivery through secure and seamless data sharing.
In 2024, Eyone achieved a key milestone by collaborating with the Senegalese government to launch the Unique Shared Patient File initiative. The project aims to ensure the reliable transmission of medical data across multiple touchpoints throughout a patient’s healthcare journey, enhancing both the efficiency and security of medical information management.
The latest $1.7 million investment from Oyass Capital reflects continued investor confidence in Eyone’s vision and technological capabilities. The funding is expected to accelerate the expansion of Eyone’s platform, enabling the startup to reach additional regions across Africa and strengthen its position in the rapidly growing e-health sector.
Eyone’s collaboration with SONATEL Group further strengthens its platform by integrating advanced telecommunications solutions, improving connectivity and access to critical healthcare data.
Through these initiatives, Eyone aims to tackle challenges related to medical data interoperability while supporting the digital transformation of healthcare systems across Africa.
As demand for digital healthcare solutions continues to rise, Eyone’s platform stands as a model for innovation in e-health, contributing to improved patient outcomes and stronger healthcare infrastructure across the continent.
