V Booking Secures $5M Funding to Accelerate AI-Powered Travel Innovation

Following strong market traction and rapid regional expansion, V Booking has announced the successful closure of a $5 million funding round, raising the company’s valuation to $60 million and reinforcing its position as a leading platform integrating artificial intelligence into travel and tourism experiences.

This round marks a pivotal milestone as V Booking continues to establish itself as one of the fastest-growing travel technology companies in the region, driven by a clear vision to reshape the way tourism services are managed and sold through advanced digital solutions.

V Booking stands as the first Arab company to develop a fully integrated AI-powered travel and hospitality ecosystem, built specifically for the tourism sector rather than relying on generic AI solutions, enabling deeper market understanding and stronger technological differentiation.

Commenting on the funding round, Amr Abu Madi, Founder and CEO of V Booking, stated:

“We are not simply building a booking platform; we are creating a smart travel ecosystem that redefines the relationship between travelers, travel agents, and service providers. This round adopted a flexible investment model combining cash funding with strategic operational partnerships, allowing us to translate capital directly into tangible growth and market impact, bringing the total round to $5 million.”

Advancing the AI Concierge with Augmented Reality A significant portion of the funding will support the development of AI Concierge, a voice-only intelligent digital travel assistant designed to operate without complex applications or multiple steps.

The system integrates with augmented reality (AR) environments and multiple tourism platforms, delivering a unified experience that enables real-time access to travel information, seamless booking, natural voice interaction, and comprehensive tourism and hospitality services within a single journey.

Digital Currency to Solve Travel Payment Challenges V Booking has also allocated part of the funding to address one of the sector’s most complex challenges: cross-border payments and high banking fees. The company is developing TUSD – Travel USD, a digital currency scheduled for official launch in Q2 2026.

TUSD will enable instant, commission-free travel payments within the V Booking ecosystem, significantly improving financial efficiency and reducing costs for all stakeholders.

Strengthening Operations and Human Distribution Networks The round further supports enhancements to TuRbo, V Booking’s intelligent tourism operations and search engine, currently used by 55 DMC companies to manage daily operations, automate bookings, and build travel packages using AI—helping reduce operational costs, accelerate workflows, and enhance customer experience.

In parallel, V Booking announced a program to train 1,000 tourism experts on its tools and technologies, combining human expertise with technology and enabling participants to execute bookings, access competitive pricing, and generate additional income through a trusted, knowledge-driven distribution network.

Regional Expansion with a Global Outlook The funding comes amid rapid expansion across the Middle East, with a strong focus on the Gulf, North Africa, and the Levant, alongside ambitious plans to enter African, European, and Asian markets, positioning V Booking as a core digital platform for managing and selling tourism services globally.
