Moroccan Mobility Startup Enakl Raises $2.3M Seed Round to Scale Smart Transport and Launch SaaS Platform

Moroccan mobility startup Enakl has closed a $2.3 million Seed funding round as it moves to scale its intelligent shared transport solutions and prepare the launch of a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) platform for transport operators and enterprises.
The latest raise brings Enakl’s total funding to $3.7 million, following a $1.4 million pre-Seed round completed at the end of 2024, highlighting increasing investor confidence in efficiency-driven mobility models designed for emerging markets.
Funding Round
The Seed round was led by new Moroccan investors Azur Innovation Fund, Witamax, and MFounders, with follow-on participation from Catalyst Fund and Digital Africa, underscoring confidence in the company’s execution and market relevance.
Company Vision
Founded in 2022 by Samir Bennani and Charles Pommarède, later joined by Ahmed Omrane, Enakl focuses on collective and optimized commuting solutions, targeting home-to-work travel rather than consumer ride-hailing.
Technology Platform
Enakl’s proprietary platform, developed over 18 months of R&D, uses real-time data and optimization algorithms to design and manage flexible shared transport networks, improving route efficiency and vehicle utilization.
Public-Sector Traction
In 2025, Enakl secured its first public-sector pilot contract with the Casablanca–Settat Region, marking a key milestone in its engagement with regional authorities.
SaaS Expansion
The company plans to allocate a significant portion of the funding to launching its SaaS platform, enabling transport operators and enterprises to license Enakl’s technology to manage their own fleets.
