UAE’s Khosouf Studio Secures $600K Seed Funding to Expand Operations in Saudi Arabia

UAE-based Khosouf Studio, specialized in PC, console, and VR game development, has successfully raised $600,000 in a Seed round led by Merak Capital.
The investment will support the studio’s growth and expansion, including the relocation of its operations to Saudi Arabia, enhancing its contribution to the local gaming ecosystem and supporting Vision 2030 goals of establishing the Kingdom as a global hub for interactive entertainment and game development.
The funding was made through Merak Capital’s Gaming Fund, which aims to empower early-stage gaming startups and build a globally competitive Saudi gaming ecosystem.
Founded in 2020, Khosouf Studio released its award-winning debut title BOX to the BEAT VR and is currently developing two original IPs: The Panic Pit and Glitch Core. The studio also delivers interactive VR experiences and educational solutions beyond the gaming sector.
Ahmad Al-Natsheh, Founder and CEO, said: "Merak Capital’s investment is an absolute game changer. It will elevate our goals and establish our long-term base in Saudi Arabia, allowing us to publish locally developed original titles worldwide."
