ElGoat, a football prediction gaming app, has closed a $266K Seed funding round through Trigon, at a valuation of $2.66 million, supporting the platform’s growth in the digital sports gaming space.
The app was founded in late March 2026 by Mohammed Almunajem, the former president of Al Shabab Club, aiming to deliver an interactive experience for football fans through a knowledge-based prediction game.
ElGoat offers a free football prediction game where users test their football knowledge by selecting matches, predicting results, and choosing potential goal scorers, with rankings displayed on a leaderboard reflecting players’ performance.
Game Mechanics
Users can predict up to 3 matches per round from competitions including the English Premier League and the Saudi Roshn League, among others.
Choosing the winning team earns 5 points.
Predicting the exact score awards 25 points.
Correctly selecting a goal scorer grants 10 points per player.
The app is completely free to play, with no betting or cash prizes, allowing users to compete globally or within private leagues with friends. The platform also supports both Arabic and English languages.
