Velents Raises $1.5M to Launch Agent.sa

Velents.ai, a Saudi-based enterprise AI solutions provider, has successfully closed a $1.5 million funding round led by angel investors from global tech leaders including Google and BCG.

The round coincides with the launch of Agent.sa, the first fully integrated Arabic-speaking AI employee designed to operate within organizations across the Middle East — a step that could redefine the future of work in the Arab world.

Founded by Mohamed Gaber and Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Velents started as a smart recruitment platform before expanding in 2023 into a broader AI-driven enterprise solutions provider. The company now empowers organizations to attract, assess, and retain talent through intelligent digital systems. It has already secured clients across Egypt and Saudi Arabia, including universities, government ministries, and private enterprises, witnessing remarkable growth following the deployment of AI-powered agents in customer service, sales, and quality assurance.

Agent.sa stands out as a fully autonomous Arabic AI employee capable of answering phone calls, managing WhatsApp, Telegram, and Instagram conversations, analysing data, tracking orders, and executing operational tasks — all in natural Arabic, without translation or third-party integrations.

“We’re not just building a tool,” said Mohamed Gaber, Co-founder and CEO of Velents. “We’re delivering a real digital employee who works alongside human teams. Our goal is to empower Arab companies with an intelligent worker who understands their language and dialect and enhances their daily productivity.”

“We’re not selling off-the-shelf software,” added Abdulaziz Almuhaydib, Co-founder and COO. “We’re embedding a smart employee into every company, one that learns, adapts, and delivers value in real time.”

The startup is gearing up for a new funding round expected in early 2026, as it positions Agent.sa as a transformative AI workforce solution for sectors such as banking, telecom, logistics, and healthcare. The AI employee can operate 24/7, handle thousands of customer interactions simultaneously, and continuously learn and evolve from company data.

Built on Velents’ proprietary Arabic language model, trained on millions of texts across diverse dialects, Agent.sa complies with local data protection laws, ensuring data stays within Saudi Arabia and within national borders in Egypt.

With this milestone, Velents marks a defining moment in the evolution of Arabic AI, bridging the gap between language, technology, and business efficiency.
