Upscale AI Raises $200M to Power the Next Generation of AI Data Centers

Upscale AI, Inc. announced that it has secured $200 million in funding in a round co-led by Tiger Global Management, LLC, Premji Invest, and Xora Innovation Pte. Ltd., on January 21, 2026.
The transaction included participation from new investors Prosperity7 Ventures, the venture capital fund of Saudi Aramco, and Intel Capital Corporation, alongside returning investors Maverick Silicon, StepStone Group Inc, Mayfield Fund, L.L.C., and Qualcomm Ventures LLC.
As part of the transaction, the company issued convertible preferred shares, bringing Upscale AI’s total funding raised to over $300 million to date.
Founded in September 2025, Upscale AI had previously raised $100 million in a Seed round, as global data centers continue to face mounting challenges in supporting the scale and performance demands of modern AI workloads.
Upscale AI addresses these challenges through its SkyHammer system, which unifies GPUs, AI accelerators, memory, storage, and networking into a single, integrated infrastructure, significantly reducing latency gaps and transforming data centers into highly efficient, cohesive systems.
The Upscale AI platform is built on open standards and open-source technologies, enhancing scalability and enabling continuous innovation in AI data center infrastructure.
