UAE Leads AI Delegation to the US

The Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy and Remote Work Applications Office, in collaboration with the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, is organising a landmark visit for 50 Chief AI Officers from federal and local entities in the UAE to the world’s leading US technology companies. The initiative reflects the UAE’s strong commitment to reinforcing its role as a global model for digital transformation and accelerating the adoption of AI in government services.
The 10-day programme will provide Chief AI Officers with first-hand exposure to cutting-edge innovations and emerging technology trends, while fostering the exchange of best practices and the creation of strategic networks with global technology leaders. This will ultimately contribute to enhancing government performance and ensuring future readiness.
The delegation will meet with senior executives, innovators, and AI experts at some of the world’s most influential companies, including Google, Meta, OpenAI, Palantir, NVIDIA, IBM, Amazon, and Microsoft, alongside visits to leading innovation hubs.
Omar Sultan Al Olama, UAE Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasised that the visit marks a significant milestone in advancing the country’s AI journey. He noted that the programme will accelerate the adoption of next-generation digital solutions, strengthen the UAE’s strategic partnerships, and highlight its role as a global hub for AI innovation.
Mohammed bin Taliah, Chief of Government Services of the UAE Government and head of the delegation, stated that the initiative creates a vital platform for Chief AI Officers to engage directly with global technology leaders. He highlighted that the programme enables the exchange of expertise, the development of innovative approaches, and the adoption of best practices that will drive service excellence and enhance the UAE’s global competitiveness.
This knowledge-focused mission aligns with the UAE’s National Artificial Intelligence Strategy 2031, launched under the UAE Centennial 2071, and underscores the government’s commitment to investing in human capital, forging international partnerships, and positioning the UAE at the forefront of digital economy leadership.
