UAE-based Receiptable Raises Seed Funding Led by 21 Ventures

Abu Dhabi, United Arab EmiratesReceiptable, a UAE-based fintech specializing in digital receipt platforms, has announced the successful close of a Seed funding round led by 21 Ventures, with participation from Oraseya Capital and AngelsDeck Global Ventures, alongside follow-on investment from existing backer Salica Investments.

Receiptable develops a frictionless digital receipts platform that enables retailers and financial institutions to drive higher customer engagement, offering advanced analytics and personalized promotions that enhance the checkout experience.

The platform serves multiple retail sectors, including grocery, F&B, and fashion, helping merchants gain deeper customer insights, increase engagement, and reduce reliance on paper receipts—eliminating over one million kilometres of paper receipts annually across the GCC.

The newly raised capital will be used to support expansion across the UAE and the wider Middle East, strengthen product and engineering teams, and accelerate commercial partnerships with major retail groups and payments acquirers.

Receiptable is headquartered in Abu Dhabi, with offices in Dubai and Bahrain, and was founded in 2023 by Chris Purdie.
