Standard Chartered and Falak Launch Third ‘Women in Tech’ Cohort in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh, Saudi ArabiaStandard Chartered, in collaboration with Falak Investment Hub, announced the launch of the third cohort of the Women in Tech Accelerator in Saudi Arabia, reinforcing their commitment to inclusive innovation and empowering female tech founders.

Targeting women-led or women-founded startups that are solving challenges through tech-driven solutions, the programme is part of Standard Chartered’s global Futuremakers initiative, which supports economic inclusion through entrepreneurship and education.

The 8-week accelerator will provide:

  • Expert-led masterclasses,
  • Tailored mentorship and advisory,
  • Exposure to regional investor networks.

The top three startups in the 2025 cohort will receive a total of USD 45,000 in equity-free grants.

Past participants include:

  • Chefaa, which raised $5.25M for Saudi expansion,
  • Afsih, an assistive tech startup and winner of Cohort 2,
  • AVA and Tarkeez, active in fintech and productivity tech.

Applications close on 27 June 2025, and the programme will begin in early July, under the theme:

“Innovate. Lead. Inspire.”
