Qwacks Closes a USD 480K Pre-Seed Round

Qwacks, the Saudi-based gaming technology startup developing advanced tools for game creators, has announced the closing of its Pre-Seed round at USD 480K.
The round was led by Merak Capital, marking a significant milestone for one of the first startups in Saudi Arabia focused on building core technologies for the gaming industry and supporting both development and live operations.
Founded in 2024 by Anas AlSahli and Abdulrahman Y Alfozan, Qwacks is building a unified technology layer designed to streamline all stages of game development.
The platform consists of three integrated products:
Flock: a scalable Backend-as-a-Service (BaaS) solution for online and multiplayer games.
Protokite: an AI-powered game testing system connecting developers with real players.
DataDuck: a market analytics platform aggregating multi-source data to help studios evaluate ideas and identify market opportunities.
The new funding will accelerate Qwacks’ technical infrastructure expansion, enhance product integration, and enable the company to serve a broader network of game studios across Saudi Arabia and the wider region. It will also strengthen its operational capabilities amid rising demand for locally developed gaming technologies.
