Qureos Raises $5 Million to Transform Hiring with AI
The Middle East-founded AI-driven hiring platform, Qureos, has closed a $5 million seed round led by Prosus Ventures and Salica Oryx Fund, with participation from Oraseya Capital, Plus VC, F6 Ventures, BDev Ventures, Sunny Side Venture Partners, and early HubSpot executive Dan Tyre, along with follow-on investments from COTU Ventures and Globivest.
Founded by Alexander Epure and Usama Nini, Qureos is built on a simple insight: hiring is slow not just because of volume, but due to fragmented processes. Recruiters face disconnected tools across sourcing, screening, and interviewing, while candidates often lack clarity or feedback.
Qureos offers a fully integrated hiring system rather than a sequence of manual steps, designed to continuously improve outcomes for both employers and candidates.
At the core of the platform is Iris, the AI assistant, which serves as the interface between companies and candidates. For employers, Iris automates sourcing, screening, and interviews, optimizing both speed and quality. For candidates, Iris matches them to suitable roles and provides role-specific feedback early in the process.
Today, more than 1,000 enterprise and public sector organisations rely on Qureos, including Qatar Airways, Dubai Economy and Tourism, BAAN Holdings, and Union Properties. The platform is designed to comply with GCC nationalisation policies, while remaining flexible to integrate with existing ATS/HRIS systems or function as a standalone solution.
