Open (YC W24) Raises $7M in a Funding Round

Open (YC W24) announced the closing of a $7 million funding round, led by Y Combinator and X by Unifonic, with participation from Shorooq Partners and Sadu Capital.

Open focuses on automating customer support and enterprise communications for complex organizations through a unified AI-powered platform that enables businesses to manage interactions across phone calls, chats, emails, and messaging applications within a single system.

Since going public early last year, Open has been powering the support and communication infrastructure for global companies including MoneyGram, Viva, Mollie, TicketSwap, and More.com, achieving an average automation rate of 77% across inbound support and outbound workflows.

The Open platform is designed to replace an entire legacy support stack with one AI-driven solution covering support, outbound communication, phone calling, upselling, and insights—built with trust, security, and cutting-edge technology at its core.

The newly raised capital will be used to expand into Europe, the GCC, and the United States, as well as to establish a regional office in Saudi Arabia, supporting the company’s broader global growth strategy.

Founded in the United States in 2024 by Mohammad Gharbat and Mohammad Tabaza, Open started as an open-source project before evolving into an enterprise-grade commercial platform.
