Nimble Raises $47M to Power Trusted Live Web Search for AI Agents

In a move that underscores the growing demand for trusted, enterprise-grade web search powered by AI agents, Nimble has raised $47 million in a Series B round led by Norwest.

The New York–based startup deploys AI agents to search the web in real time, verify and validate results, and structure the information into clean tables that can be queried like a database. This structured validation layer addresses a major enterprise challenge: unstructured text outputs, hallucinations, and unreliable sources generated by large language models.

By transforming live web data into structured, validated datasets, Nimble enables companies to use external web intelligence as if it were already part of their internal databases.

The platform integrates with enterprise data warehouses and data lakes from providers such as Databricks and Snowflake, alongside partnerships with AWS and Microsoft to streamline enterprise deployments.

Speaking to TechCrunch, CEO and co-founder Uri Knorovich said:

ā€œModels can do a lot of things, but most production AI fails aren’t because the models are not good enough — it’s because of a data failure,ā€
ā€œWhat we’re seeing today is that enterprises don’t need more AI; they need AI with good, reliable web search … If you nail it down, if you can choose what your agent can search and cannot search, this is the tipping point for enterprises to say, ā€˜Hey we can actually trust AI. We can actually put AI to work in more use cases.ā€™ā€

Nimble currently serves more than 100 customers, with the majority of revenue coming from large enterprises, including Fortune 500 and Fortune 10 companies across retail, hedge funds, banking, consumer packaged goods, and AI-native startups.

The round also included participation from Target Global, Square Peg, Hetz Ventures, Slow Ventures, R-Squared Ventures, J-Ventures, InvestInData, and Databricks. Proceeds will fund expanded R&D in multi-agent web search and the development of a governed data layer that processes and validates search outputs for mission-critical use cases.
