NCA & SITE Empower Entrepreneurs Through Cybersecurity Program

Riyadh – The National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) has unveiled a series of strategic initiatives under its newly launched “Cybersecurity Entrepreneurship Program,” designed to empower entrepreneurs and startups in the cybersecurity sector and strengthen Saudi Arabia’s digital resilience.

According to the NCA, the program seeks to enhance the cybersecurity ecosystem, foster startup growth, attract quality investments, and boost local content contribution within the sector.

The initiatives include the Cybersecurity Startup Hackathon, Cybersecurity Accelerator, Cybersecurity Startup Growth Expansion, and the Cyber Innovation Program. Together, these efforts aim to create a competitive and investment-friendly environment, establish national cybersecurity firms, and support high-potential startups, aligning with the Kingdom’s economic diversification and sustainability goals.

The program adopts a comprehensive and sustainable model, covering every stage of the entrepreneurship journey — from transforming creative ideas into viable ventures to developing policies, securing funding, and building governance frameworks that ensure long-term impact. It also focuses on delivering innovative solutions to tackle both current and emerging cybersecurity challenges while reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s leadership in the field.

In addition, the NCA, in collaboration with Monsha’at and SITE, announced the launch of the Cybersecurity Empowerment Initiative for SMEs, targeting more than 500 enterprises through a Cyber Vulnerability Assessment Platform. The initiative aims to enhance digital readiness, reduce operational costs, and protect systems and data, strengthening the overall cybersecurity landscape across the Kingdom.
