COGNNA, the Saudi-based cybersecurity company, announced the successful closure of its $9.2 million Series A funding round, marking a significant milestone in its accelerated growth trajectory and global expansion strategy. The Series A round was co-led by Impact46 and BNVT Capital, with participation from Vision Ventures (VV) and Tali Ventures by stc.
COGNNA specializes in delivering an advanced AI-powered cybersecurity platform designed to automate threat detection and response, enabling organizations to enhance their digital defense capabilities with greater efficiency and precision. The newly secured investment will support the company’s plans to scale internationally, advance its technology development, and expand its talent acquisition efforts.
This round follows Impact46’s leadership of COGNNA’s previous funding round in 2023, alongside Vision Ventures, reflecting sustained investor confidence in the company’s vision and technological approach. COGNNA was founded in 2023 by Ibrahim Alshamrani and Ziyad Alshehri.
