botim money and Mastercard Expand Global Remittances via Mastercard Move

Dubai, United Arab Emirates – botim money, the financial services arm of botim, Astra Tech’s flagship digital platform, announced a strategic collaboration with Mastercard to expand its international remittance services, powered by Mastercard Move.

Through this integration, botim money users can send funds from the UAE to more than 150 countries worldwide, with payout options including bank accounts, mobile wallets, or cash pickup, depending on market requirements—directly from the botim app.

By leveraging Mastercard Move’s advanced money movement technologies, botim money enables faster, more secure, and seamless cross-border transfers. The collaboration further strengthens botim’s position as a fintech-first, AI-native platform, delivering near real-time international remittances within a trusted and regulated ecosystem.

Dr. Tariq Bin Hendi, Board Member of Astra Tech and CEO of botim, said:

“Our collaboration with Mastercard strengthens our mission to unify communication and finance under one smart ecosystem. By embedding global remittances into botim, we’re making money transfer faster, safer, and more inclusive—especially for users with limited financial access. This collaboration reiterates our commitment to making financial services accessible, intuitive, and empowering for everyone.”

Gina Petersen-Skyrme, Country Manager, UAE & Oman at Mastercard, commented:

“Cross-border payments serve as a lifeline for expats in markets like the UAE and their families back home. At Mastercard, we enable fast, secure, convenient, and affordable international money transfers. Collaborations with innovative fintech players such as botim play a vital role in advancing financial inclusion.”

The initiative combines Mastercard’s global infrastructure with botim’s expanding financial ecosystem, allowing users across the UAE to complete international transfers without leaving the app or switching providers, significantly reducing transaction time and complexity.

This announcement comes at a pivotal moment for the UAE fintech sector, projected to reach USD 6.43 billion by 2030, while supporting the country’s vision for a cashless, inclusive digital economy, aligned with initiatives led by the Central Bank of the UAE.
