Shadi Malak is the Chief Executive Officer of Etihad Rail, leading the UAE’s national railway network with a focus on operational excellence and strategic growth. Since joining the railway project in 2007, he has held key leadership roles, driving the company’s development and supporting national economic plans. He also serves as CEO of Etihad Rail DB, strengthening the strategic partnership with DB Schenker, Europe’s largest rail freight operator, enhancing logistics connectivity across the region. Malak holds a Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Imperial Business School, combining technical expertise with executive leadership to advance sustainable rail infrastructure.
