Mohammed AlShammasi is a seasoned investment executive with over two decades of experience in asset management and financial markets across Saudi Arabia and the GCC. He currently serves as CEO of Derayah Financial, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and oversees a diversified investment platform spanning public equities, fixed income, credit, real estate, venture capital, and private equity. Prior to this role, he was Chief Investment Officer at Derayah and Head of Investment Management at NCB Capital, where he managed more than USD 9 billion in assets and led the establishment of a GCC investment team that raised over USD 3 billion from sovereign wealth funds, family offices, and pension funds. AlShammasi holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals and has completed executive programs at INSEAD and Stanford University, bringing a disciplined, institution-building approach to long-term investment growth.
